Crashes Cause I-84, Saw Mill Parkway Delays

There were delays on two of the major roadways in the area just as the evening commute got underway Friday.

The left lane on I-84 was blocked westbound in Dutchess County for more than an hour at Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15) in Hopewell Junction.

There were stop-and-go delays on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway following a crash that initially blocked the right lane.

The northbound incident occurred in Hawthorne at Route 9A/Saw Mill River Road (Exit 23) with residual delays after the lane reopened around 5 p.m.
